* En route to The Gorge! We actually had to climb across a pile of tree branches and slide down these rocks to a bank. From there we crossed the river and continued on….

* More from The Gorge! Even though it was at least 70°, the river was still pretty cold. I thought this was pretty smart and very Big Sur: cooling the beer in the river next to rock sculptures. Oh, how I’ll miss this next year in Boston!

* All the seniors ditched school yesterday so two of my friends and I decided to go down to Big Sur! We stopped by Palo Colorado and considered buying a house. After trekking through the river and climbing over boulders and piles of fallen trees, we finally got to The Gorge! Unfortunately there were other people there….(including an old fat guy with piercings who kept creeping on us)
